OHS Policy

The management of UAC Berhad is committed to the needs of occupational health and safety. As such, it shall take all reasonable measures to:

  • Protect employees, assets, and other parties working on our premises from potential hazards,
  • Promote occupational health and safety of employees and other parties working on our premises,
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and other requirements,
  • Review Occupational Health & Safety performance for continual improvement.

Everyone in the Company has the responsibility to prevent accidents in the workplaces to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Environmental Policy

UAC Berhad is conscious that its activities will affect the environment in which it operates. It will carry out environmental protection activities to the best of its ability in:

  • Conserving the use of natural resources, prevention of pollution, & protecting the environment by managing effluent discharges efficiently and preventive maintenance,
  • Ensuring that this Policy is communicated to all its employees and stakeholders,
  • Ensuring that the Environmental Management System is documented, implemented, and maintained,
  • Complying with all legislation compliance obligations and governmental regulations,
  • Continually setting, reviewing, and improving its environment protection objectives.

All employees of the Company shall actively participate in reducing risks to environmental damage and ensure that its environmental impact assessments are conducted for its facilities and its operations regularly, and changes made to its existing and future processes as necessary from time to time.
